For more than 10 years, we have been obtaining the best certificates for our candy. We only use high-quality ingredients and recipes. Every day, we strive to be the best in our field.


As a confectioner, you must keep up with the times. There is no escaping from using modern machines to deliver tasteful products. Yet, we never change the basics: delicious candy is made from real sugar with a lot of love for craftsmanship and expertise.

In 1931 Confiserie Thijs opened its doors under the leadership of Arthur Thijs. Now – many years later – Joris Thijs is in charge. For three generations, the Thijs family has been passing on its passion for traditional confectionery. Naturally, the candy factory looks different today than it did in the days of Grandfather Arthur. Technologies constantly evolve and we continue to experiment with new flavors. But our recipe remains authentic. And you can taste it in every one of our sweets.
